does dualchannel affect the 1mem test? asking because i got 34 sec by now with singlechannel on an prescott4,15ghz with memory@ 238mhz cl2-2-2-5
It ought to.
My dualchannel 2.4A gets the 34sec limit at 3801MHz (211FSB) so yes it does make a difference.Quote:

Improved from 38 sec to 36 sec, on my new ghetto waterchiller (so far :))

Here is my best so far on my 3.0C/P4C800-E rig:
http://users.adelphia.net/~youmansj/...PI%2036sec.jpg
Just done
22.29 in SuperPiM32.
The Cascade can handle everything in 64 bit OS under 2 volt.
my highest OC under 2 volt is 3300.
Then the multi must be 14 (13 is to high to fastest timings)
Easy.
If I try higher than 2 volt It hold for about 20 minuts, then the Cascade gets hot.
I'm close to that point, where I can finish BEFORE its gets hot
;)
That like "Lucky Luke ":D
nice score :D
Congrats Tom Holck
i test my 2.4A with C02, and i think this enough this time...
next time i take some LN2 and i have to mod this mobo first and get 3.0E ;)

1,8V with prescott? How is it possible? Everyone has no-boot overo 1,65V

CO2 cooling could be the reason ;)
Yea agree, bias_hjorth,Quote:

I remember when everybody said that 1.8/1.85 was the max on the old P4. With cascade cooling sub -100c the best OC was close to 2 volt.
I have not tried Prescott yeat (FX-53 is better at this point, like a 6+Ghz Prescott!!*) but with sufficient cooling the Prescott can take volt, for sure.
*2400@3300x14 is like a FX-62:slobber:
yup and that not even long ago :)Quote:

6Ghz pressi should be a "tad" bit faster than a fx53 even at impressive 3300 :)Quote:

someone in germany feeds his 2.4er prescott with 1,75 with only mach2 and he gets an astonishing 4,4ghz super pi 1m time of 29 sec ;)
sry for tipo. meant 29 sec and not 20 sec ;)
