Those in bold aren't Micron D9. They don't overclock at all, at rated voltage/timings/freq they run hot like deepest deep of hell and don't even post on some motherboards.http://img254.imageshack.us/img254/7...lkosci2dx4.jpgQuote:
PC2-6400 800MHz DDR2 Ultra Dual Channel Kit SKU: GX21GB6400UDC / GX22GB6400UDC PC2-6400 DDR2-800MHz CAS 4-4-4-12 1.8v ~ 2.3v
Be warned, they are not D9. Mine are week 27, I heard that some have had D9 but don't know in which week they switched. Also GX22GB6400UDC Plus are D9, from what I know.
Only early versions had Micron D9GMH. Current ones have either Aeneon or Elpida.Quote:

Its just wrong when a set is released and reviewed with good ratings, then changing the IC's :slapass:
someone needs to add these to the list,

I have this kit for sale...
TWIN2X1024A-5400UL 675MHz 3-3-2-8-1T CM2X512A-5400UL
Anyone interested pm me!
I am using matched pair Corsair XMS2 6400 2048MB (2x1GB) 4-4-4-12 TWIN2X2048-6400C4 and they are a good bargin. I managed a best stable frequency clock of 2x534.3MHz at 5,5,5,15, FSB-DRAM of 1:2 with 2.1v recommended max. volts. They are cheaper than the 6400C3 and a grade lower from these. A massive bandwidth improvement over stock and I can run the tighter latency 3,3,3,12 but at frequencies below 400 MHz. I actually got the best bandwidth latency test at a slightly smaller overall bandwidth using 2x525.8 MHz, FSB-DRAM of 3:5 with 2.1v. It's always impressive to run these at PC2-8500 from the standard rate of PC2-6400. You definitly need a good Mobo and other bits to get good numbers. They rock for the price to performance ratio.
Very nicely done and well organized list. Thanks for this.
please add to list
DDR2 Ultra Dual Channel Kit
PC2-8500 DDR2-1066 Dual Channel Kit
SKU#: GX21GB8500PDC | GX22GB8500PDC
DDR2 Ultra Dual Channel Kit
PC2-8000 DDR2-1000 Dual Channel Kit
SKU#: GX22GB8000UDC | GX22GB8000UDC
both GEIL.
Hehe Geil used to be good a few years back but they are just a bunch of 'kin pirates now
KVR667D2N5K2/2G kingston value ram got some with d9gmh:)
I have the TWIN2X2048-6400C4* XMS2-6400 2048MB 4-4-4-12 2X240 DIMM Black XMS2 and the bandwidth test on sandra is giving me really bad results. at 690Mhz 4-4-4-12 @ 2.1v I'm getting 6100Mb/s how does this seem to you. I,ve tried running them at a little higher than 800Mhz somewhere around 20-30Mhz more and I can't ge them stable. Also what bandwidth should I be getting with this kit on the p35. Thanks for any advice you can give.
sorry i thought it would be ok to post here. In the beginning it says the sticks in red are for xtreme users. My experience with them would suggest otherwise. Is there something I'm doing wrong?? Let me know. Has anybody else had good results with these sticks?
Quadzilla what mobo are u using and what bandwidth do you get in sandra?
Edit: Thanks to quadzilla's post I got an idea where I should be at and I currently got my memory at 1035Mhz @ 5-5-5-15 1T @ 2.1V. Not sure if my board actually does 1T read something somewhere about that, but that is how its set up in the bios. I've primed this for 9 hours and also ran 32 passes of memtest on these settings. My bandwidth still seems a little low. Right now I'm scoring 6.7GB/s bandwidth in sandra. When I tested some Gskill memory on an m2n-e board at ddr2 800 5-5-5-15 I got a score of 7something GB/s. I guess AMD is still the leader in memory performance. Also has anybody messed with the advanced memory timings for this memory. I'd like to know where to start there.
Excellent list,thanks a lot
But i need to build 2 sys Q6600 G0,with AT LEAST 4 gb.Ok,for overclocking purposes,4g.I need to go up to at least 3.6 with my q6600.Heavy use,24/24/air cooled.
What sticks do you recommend? And should i build 4x1 gb sticks or 2x2?
Tracers?....or BL2KIT12864AA804 http://www.crucial.com/store/partspe...2kit12864aa804
Or Mushkin 2x2?
I'm really confused,2x1gb is clear for me,but 2x2 or 4x1...pls help me
Hi guys , where do 8500 Ballistix fit into the list ? I have a set but they dont clock that well for me and I was just told that they are not D9's . I will be sure to buy my next set off this list .
Do any of the 2x2GB sets clock at all ?
Thanks for the good work.
heikis - thats nice there , are they the Vitesta Extreme CL4 rams ?
.
Super Talent T1000UB1G4, rated 1000MHz, running in cl4-4-4-10 @ 2.15V at this speed! Awesome.
Micron D9 based chip, not sure what batch tough, probably GKX.
Looking forward to upgrade my pc within two weeks and i'm really confused in chosing ram kits. I want it fast and perfect for overclocking.
I've decided on q6600 G0 and Gigabyte EP45-DS4
i have several choices
G.skill PC2-8000 PQ
Mushkin Redline PC2-8000
G.skill PC2-6400 cl5 PI, is this the one which can be operated @ 1066 cl5 and 800 @cl4
I didn't find any cellshoks here
what about them?
How about This:
