TPMW IIRC, I'll check when I get home (at work ATM)Quote:

thanks alot!!
Nice SAE. Can't wait 'til I get a Prommy. :)
(Probably a Mach I that I can get cheap, will be R404a modded.)
Wonder what my chip will do prommy cooled...
Codered: Nice result... Server 2003 need to be tweaked. There are a thread about Server 2003 little back in this section, there you will find a 2003 guide.
Yes. I am anxious what scores you could get :DQuote:

But remember. The results I show are only to reproduce when ya fsb is as high as mine... FSB RULEZ
Sure.... but that will be hard with an NF7. :DQuote:

My current is dead. It wouldn't go higher than 249.6(x11) 2-2-2-11 CPU-int/APIC on anyway (stock cooler...), so I was getting tired of it. Hoping for a new one that does at least 253-255 without too much hesitation. :D
But 12.5x250 or 251 should probably be enough for 32s...
no better times since last try, but now with a nice HTT (and HT-Link @700mhz)

Yeah, the nf7 and apic sucked too, like the dfis. Seems to be the nf2 chipset/cpus limiting us.Quote:

Do you think you could do 3.125Ghz with onnly a mach1 ;) ?
I had evap temps around only -23°C at 2.85GHz and 2V, and cpu socket temps were over 24°C! I now have loaded socket temps of 18°C and evap at -52°C :D (12x255 priming, primed over the last night and still priming... )
/edit.
@TM30
If your ram would be faster you could probably gain a second or two ;)
The unit will be R404a (maybe R507) modded "of course". The CPU does 2800+ at 45-50C and my crappy low +12v line... we'll see what it will do with some nice temps and a decent PSU. :DQuote:

I'm pretty sure the chip will do at least 3,1 GHz with R404a Mach I.
Edit: Hm... I see umakemi's AQYHA did 3100 MHz with modded Prommy Mach I... only 2550 with air.
Some chips perform well under phasechange, some don't... :shrug:Quote:

I have an old 2400+ tbred b that does 2.4+ on air and 2.6 under phasechange only... so go figure.
And the 12V line does not much to the cpu. Going from 12.4V to 13V just brings more instability... Take a look after a good 5V line though. But I dunno if the nf7 uses the 12V rail more intensely than the dfi's do... And remember, it also depends on the board you're on... abits seems to get a bit higher cpu clocks but don't like high fsb the same time...
A thing I've noticed with this CPU is that it seems to care a lot about the temp, compared to a few other desktop XPs I've used. How it does with zubzero temps is another story though, but I have a feeling that it will do goood...
With NF7 the 5v line is not important at all... 12v is. It drops badly with 1,9v vcore and more, and I'm pretty sure it hurts my OC, at least a few MHz.
And the high CPU/FSB/vcore problems seems to be non-existent with the newer boards and bioses. :)
Okay. I could only guess as my last nf7-s oc adventure was quite some time ago...Quote:

Erm... do ya really think so??? Hehe. Iirc, there are many probs with newer boards just to reach fsbs higher than 225!!!Quote:

Why I don't see scores like mine from all the mobile/nf7 users? All I have seen up to now were at 200-215MHz fsb to pass 3GHz

I know it. :)
The max 225 boards are history now, thankfully. The latest boards are great. My first NF7 (really old) did 245-250 with multis below 11, but only 230x11... unmodded, vdd mod didn't help. With Tictac D10 bios.
My third (NB 0344) did 249x11... and 249x10... probably 249x8 aswell (maybe 250 :D ). With Tictac D2x bioses.
Because people have the old crappy NF7s, they either keep that or get DFI boards.Quote:

But, there are some, Dani with 253x12 or something like that for example... ;)
Edit: That's with a desktop, but there is no such thing as NF7/mobile high FSB problems...
And soon, you have me with 25Xx12,5 :D
TheDude, Keeper, Jeff, all have probs at 3GHz+ and fsb higher than 215...Quote:

Well. We'll see when I get my prommy. :)
OPP bought a new one one or two months ago, too. Could not get it higher than 238 stably!Quote:

man thats just too many numbers to remember :p:
Finaly.
24 sek fastest timings 3353 Mhz:banana:
24s is not enough! :p
Just kidding, I wish you luck in getting 23 seconds and making a new world record.
just :toast: Tom Holck

VMOD the board to get close to 300 FSB maybe?
Very nice Tom... :slobber:
