well since we dont know how they handle temps ATM. 50-54c would be my stopping point. dont forget to watch for thermal throttling, over at ocforums ross said his cpu on the stock HS when oced was reading 65 or there about. Throttling was kicking in at those temps, was oced to 3.8ghz-3.9ghz. cant remember the voltage he used, atm.

well this 6500 is suppose to be released around xmas time and some price cuts coming hopefully. i would expect to fit in the current price point of the E6400. Either that or the 6500 is going to be around the $300 range.
So what would the practical difference (as far as benchmarks) goes between this E6500 and the E4300? They both have 9x multipliers but different FSB? I'm talking OC'd benchmarks not stock benchmarks.

if im not mistaken the e4300 is also single core not dual...as far as ocing goes the e6500 will own it. i would expect the e4300's to be dud's of the higher end ones. That is unless the e4300 are really popular like the 2.4c's and they start binnning them to meet demand.Quote:

All the E6XXX chips are going to have 266 FSB's are they not?? The 4300is the only 200 with a 9x multi.
