    Artifacts Gigabyte HD4870x2

Hey guys, I have a strange problem with my HD4870x2, it appears that yesterday between playing the BETA of the Medal of Honor, and accidentally leave the fan of the ATI to 40% and half of the game started like to see artifacts in the windows of houses and other, well, I leave the game and see that the temperature is 80 º C, it is up there right from the Catalyst put my fan at 100% to cool, then entered the Need For Speed Shift and in the menu and artifacts were seen a lot, I began to worry.
I downloaded the ATI TOOL and put nothing but the screen was filled with ATI TOOL of artifacts, is this.

That's where I worry a lot, and not know what to do, since I picked up and restart the computer to see what was happening, and to my surprise, the artifacts were gone!
I passed the ATI TOOL, 20 minutes with furkmark and nothing, no trace of artifacts!
What could this be? a notice that is dying? Driver problem? by the overheating tube?
P.D: This happened with the stock graph. without OC.
A greeting and thanks in advance.

I would remount the HSF, set fan to 60%+ and use furmark to test for artifacting/crashing. Let it run for at least 30 mins. If theres no artifacts or crashing I'd say your ok.

I've seen that happen before on my own personal rigs once or twice with more than one video card in the past -- you'll play something or goof around with your overclock and start getting artifacts, reboot, and they go away. Don't worry about it if they went away after the reboot. Update your drivers also.

Hello again, this morning I disassembled the target, I've cleaned the dust and I have changed the thermal paste for a bit of artic silver 5.
    I have reinstalled the drivers.
Then I did what she says the partner.
Furkmark left it on for 30 minutes at 800MHz core and 900MHz memory and do not see any artifact.
    The maximum temperatures were 70 º C and 71 º C
    How are the temperatures?
But then I should not worry?
    Thank you very much.
