    Have you given up?

    I am sorry that you have given up to take us in Team Norway, The fun of DC disappeared with your withdrawal from MJ-12. Still, I salute Movieman to try to engage the team to support!
    MJ-12 is unfortunately loosing interest by DC contributors, I hope that you will be able in XS to come back and give us a hell-of-day...

    We are currently having an In-Team competition in World Community Grid, and a whole bunch of guys that run DC-Vault projects have thrown in the towel for one or the other of the two teams for the month of May.

    Once June rolls around, you might see some action again.

    I left a message over on the MJ12 boards that I'd be gone for the month of may but back on June1.
    Big internal competition here at XS on WCG and I need every cycle out of the cpu's.

    Verizon is rolling out FIOS( like mine) all over the country.
    WE find a few guys with it and we're back in the game.

    should i turn mine back on? hey, i was rivaling frisch.

    i was torrenting/mass downloading (100 threads or so) and i reached peak of 1.13 MB/sec. did over 10 gigs a day.

    I'll be struggling today with japanese domains i picked up , checked them for an hour, to try them out......now i have "50 japanese" hanging in my node.......get out !!!!!

    Will take at least a half day to finish, so low output today...

    Didn't you read my tweak thread Frisch? You should select certain domains near you. It will not only speed crawling up, but might improve your efficiency. For you, I would select these domains (.de, .dk, .com, .org, .net, .gb, .uk, etc). It is tough for people outside of Japan, Hong Kong and China to crawl their websites.

    I know moddo, and yes i read your wise words, but boredom can lead to catastrophic circumstances. You could say, i wanted to feel the pain.

    But that can happen even when your choices are right, cause when we are ending a load, you are forced to what's left. So hanging domains is something we all have to feel at some time, but i did it all by myself this time.

    I have had almost since the start, de,dk,se,uk,no,nl, and for the low data i select Info, as they are full of errors...alex wrote that they are s... all over.
