Heh, while peltier's sound fantastic, I'd like to keep this fairly simple as I've never done any type of cooling but air. Thanks for the suggestion though!Originally Posted by Praxis1452

What CFM rating of fans are you using? I have been researching a new WC setup and picking your RAD really depends on how much CFM you are going to be using. If your using Yate Loons then I highly recommend the Thermochill but keep in mind a PA120.2 performs as well as a MCR320 with Yate Loons (thats right a duel vs a triple).
If your going with something a little higher like 90 CFM + then you can start looking at HWLabs RAD's instead of the Swiftech ones. Where the Thermochill stands I don't know cause I can not find any numbers with the RAD using higher flow fans.
Also the Thermochill has the least pressure drop so if your not using DCC+ /w Petra's top thats somethign to think about.
@Spudnik
Need a better rad!

Dammit, PA120.3 price gouging makes it hard to fit in.
I use Yate Loons for all of my fan needs. I'm big on silence.Originally Posted by Bun-Bun

Then yeah go with either the Thermochill or Swiftech rads. Anything else and you will be throwing away performance.
I agree due to the price the MCR320 is your best choice.
okay, jack up price by $20 for a total of $211.50, to include MCR320Originally Posted by eXa

if not storm i would go apogee instead. Swiftech really priorities it and with a new socket all u need is another mounting plate.
Wouldnt be any difference between that and tdx either i believe.
Dont see the point in buying less tubing to save only 2$ always nice to have some extra. If u rearange ur loop and ned couple of inches longer stretch or it gets cloudy because of sloppy rad cleaning... what ever. me... i bought 30feet!
otherwise okay

Hey guys, just wondering, what barbs (metal) would be best for the MCR320?

Hrm, really? On the MCR320 page @ Petra's it lists the barb options as black nylon and translucent polypropylene.

Would the black nylon barbs from Petra's hold up to the 7/16" tubing (as I understand it puts a lot of pressure on 1/2" barbs) and worm-drive clamps as long as I followed common sense and didn't tighten them too much?

For an MCR320, DDC-2 w/ Petra Top, AquaXtreme MP-05 SP LE, 16ft. Masterkleer, Petra Gel Pad, Pentosin G11, and clamps, it comes out to around $265.Originally Posted by septim

well Istasi you could opt to go D5 for the pump and slash some more off that $265... or spend a few more and get that 265 setup...
